Billing & Credits

BioNodulo uses a credit-based hybrid model: a monthly subscription provides a pool of credits, and you spend credits per-second only while workflows execute. Building and editing are always free.

1 credit = $0.01 USD. A simple mental model: a credit is a cent.

How you’re billed

  • Subscription floor. Each tier includes a monthly credit allowance.
  • Per-second execution. Credits burn while a run is active, at a rate set by the resource tier you choose for that run.
  • No charge for idle. Editing, sitting in the dashboard, and scaled-to-zero pods cost nothing.

Subscription tiers

TierPrice (mo)Monthly creditsMax RAMMax runtime/job
Free$0500 ($5)16 GB1 hour
Starter$293,000 ($30)64 GB8 hours
Professional$7910,000 ($100)128 GB24 hours
Team$19930,000 ($300)256 GB72 hours
Enterprise$500+Customup to 4 TBup to 7 days

Annual billing saves ~17% on paid tiers. See full feature breakdowns under Resource Tiers.

Compute burn rates

Credits are charged per second based on the instance size:

RAM TierCPUCredits/secCredits/hour
Micro (4 GB)10.0272
Small (16 GB)20.08288
Medium (64 GB)80.321,152
Large (128 GB)160.642,304
XLarge (256 GB)321.284,608
Extreme (1 TB)645.1218,432

Rates assume spot-instance utilization; on-demand is higher.

Top-up packages

When monthly credits run out, buy more — no workflow gets paused mid-run:

PackagePriceCreditsBonus
Small$101,000
Medium$252,750+10% (250 free)
Large$506,000+20% (1,000 free)
XLarge$10013,000+30% (3,000 free)

Top-up rules

  • Roll-over. Credits roll over for 12 months.
  • Auto-top-up. Optionally charge your card when the balance drops below 100 credits.
  • Usage alerts. Notifications at 50%, 80%, and 95% of your monthly allocation.
  • No hard stops. Overages draw from your top-up balance rather than pausing active workflows.

AI paper analysis billing

AI/DOI analyses are billed separately from compute. See AI Paper Analysis.
