Updating the Desktop App
Keeping BioNodulo current ensures you get new nodes, performance improvements, and security fixes.
Automatic updates
By default the desktop app checks for updates on launch. When a new version is available you’ll see a notification; the update downloads in the background and installs on the next restart. You can change this behavior in Settings → Updates.
Manual update
brew upgrade --cask bionoduloOr download the latest .dmg from the
releases page.
Node versions
Nodes installed from the registry are versioned independently of the app. Update them from Nodes → Manage — workflows pin the node versions they were built with, so updating nodes never silently changes an existing graph’s behavior.
Release notes
Each release’s changelog is published on the GitHub releases page.
